Siobhan Everdeen was your typical teenage girl growing up in Manchester, England. She was smart and usually pretty streetwise, which you needed to be growing up in Wythenshawe. She was a confident girl, especially when running about with her mates. The only problem as far as Siobhan was concerned was her family life sucked. An abusive drunken father and a victimised mother, Siobhan found herself rebelling at the age of thirteen. Secret boyfriends, house parties and drunken mistakes were some of the things she got up to when she was allowed that taste of freedom.

Siobhan was out with a group of lads when the fateful afternoon happened, all because she wanted to rebel against her father’s ridiculous rules. That became a decision she lived to regret after she was abducted in broad daylight, in front of her friends.

Held captive and the fear of being sold to a sex trafficking ring, Siobhan was almost ready to give up on everything and end it all. That was until someone else’s life became her main reason for living.
