After everything I have endured during my life you would like to think things would start to settle down and for a while they did, but this is me, and I have never had it easy, so why change a habit of a lifetime?

After moving away from my family and finally finding the courage to talk about my horrific past by publishing my first book, I felt the world had been lifted from my shoulders. Finally I had the courage to speak out but that wasn't as easy as you would think either.
It took a lot of self realization to understand what I had been through and it was about time I truly took my life into my own hands. After all, I had let others have the control for far too long.

My road to recovery wasn't an easy one, but I am proud of who I have become.
